Why it matters
- Boot from USB: Enter BIOS (F2/DEL) and set USB as primary boot.
- Load Drivers: If your drive doesn't appear, click "Load Driver" and point to the
Driversfolder on your USB (created by Rufus). - The Partition Screen: Delete all existing partitions on the target drive. Click "New."
- The Reboot: Windows 7 will reboot. Unlike a vanilla install, it won't crash on the "Starting Windows" logo.
