The V-Ray 6 Material Library is no longer a separate standalone download. Starting with V-Ray 6, the entire preset material library has been officially integrated into the Chaos Cosmos Browser. How to Access the V-Ray 6 Material Library

In V-Ray 6, the traditional Material Library has been fully integrated into the Chaos Cosmos Browser. This shift means you no longer need to find external links or download massive gigabyte files all at once during your initial software installation.

  1. Launch V-Ray 6: Open V-Ray 6 in your preferred 3D modeling software (e.g., 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender).
  2. Navigate to the Material Library: Click on the "Materials" tab in the V-Ray 6 interface, then select "Material Library" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Sign In: If you're not already signed in, you'll be prompted to log in to your Chaos Group account or create a new one.
  4. Browse and Download Materials: Once you're logged in, you can browse and download materials from the library, using the search and filter functions to find the perfect material for your project.

V-Ray Decal: Now supports displacement for more realistic surface details like cracked walls or embossed logos.
