Before diving into the DLC, let’s clarify terminology. An NSP (Nintendo Submission Package) is the digital format of a Switch game. Unlike XCI (cartridge dumps), NSP files are typically used for digital titles downloaded from the Nintendo eShop.

I picked up the NSP version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 for the Switch with all DLC included, and after sinking 50+ hours into it, I’m genuinely impressed. This is a fantastic port of one of the best tactical RPGs from the PS4 era, and having all the extra content bundled makes it a complete package.
