Is the Campaign Complete?
As of the latest stable update (Version 5.0 or later), the campaign is 98% complete. There are very few "placeholders." Every major faction has a unique building chain and unit roster. The developers are currently adding emergent scripting for the Black Death and the fall of Constantinople.
Instead of Roman legions and Hunnic hordes, you will command Knights Templar, Mongol tumens, Byzantine cataphracts, and French crossbowmen. The timeline is set in the year 1212 AD—a pivotal era featuring the Crusades, the rise of Genghis Khan, and the signing of the Magna Carta.
