In the vast library of Nintendo’s quirky simulations, few titles have achieved the cult status of Tomodachi Life. Released originally in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, the game promised something radical: a virtual island where your Mii characters live, eat, argue, fall in love, and sing auto-tuned pop songs about their deepest insecurities.
The most famous event in Tomodachi Life history was Nintendo’s apology for not including same-sex marriage, followed by a promise that a "future installment" would address it. However, Rev 2 actually removed a specific workaround. In initial European copies (Rev 1), players could exploit a loophole using the "Mii Editor" to force same-sex couples. Rev 2 quietly patched this out, closing the gender-locked dating mechanics tighter than before. Tomodachi Life -Europe- -EnFrDeEsItNl- -Rev 2-
