Final Take: The Hunt bites off more than it can chew, but it chews loudly and with gusto. It is too smart to be a dumb action movie and too dumb to be a smart satire. In 2020, that confused middle ground felt like a cop-out. In hindsight, it just feels like a fun, nasty time at the movies.
