The Bad News:
- No native Windows 10 WHQL signature for later builds. You must disable driver signature enforcement or boot into test mode to install it.
- No USB 3.0 compatibility — plugging into a USB 3.0 port often fails (random disconnects). Use a dedicated USB 2.0 port or a USB 2.0 hub.
- Sleep/resume issues — after Windows 10 sleeps, the MI4 may not wake up without a power cycle.
- Steinberg has abandoned it — no updates since 2015, and their official support page now redirects to newer UR-series interfaces (UR22C, UR44C).
