- Full Charge Indication: The battery is considered fully charged when the ammeter drops to a low steady reading (usually near 2-5 amps, depending on battery size) and remains steady for 1 hour. The voltmeter should read approx. 14.4V–14.8V (for 12V systems) or 28.8V–29.6V (for 24V systems).
- Power Off: Turn the mains switch OFF.
- Disconnect: Remove the Negative (Black) clamp first, then the Positive (Red) clamp. This minimizes the risk of shorting the clamp against the chassis.
