How to Install These RPKG Files

The Flashing Process:

  1. Install Phoenix – Do not launch yet.
  2. Install USB drivers – Connect dead E5. It should appear as "Nokia BB5".
  3. Open Phoenix → File → Scan Product. (If not found, go to Connection → USB → OK)
  4. Select firmware path → Flashing → Firmware Update.
  5. Navigate to your ROM folder containing the RPKG top file.
  6. Phoenix will auto-load the MCUSW, PPM, and CNT based on the RPKG.
  7. Check "Dead USB Flash" (if phone is unresponsive)
  8. Click "Refurbish" (not Update). This uses the RPKG top to rewrite every sector.
  9. Wait 8–12 minutes. The progress bar will freeze at 45% (writing PPM). Do not disconnect.
  10. Final popup: "Flashing completed successfully."
