An interesting feature of New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin World

While many fans are familiar with the classic platforming of the Wii console, New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin World is a rare, Japan-exclusive arcade "medallion game" that was long considered lost to time for Western players. Developed by Capcom and released in 2011, this unique title has recently been made fully playable on PC thanks to the TeknoParrot emulator. What is Coin World?

Since the underlying code is a modified version of the Wii executable, the arcade motherboard (Triforce) is similar enough to a Wii that PC emulation was inevitable.

Step 3: Input Configuration (The Tricky Part)

This is where most users fail. The arcade cabinet used a joystick and buttons plus a touch screen.

Multiplayer Events: It supports up to four players (Mario, Luigi, and two Toads). When multiple people play, they can charge power meters together to trigger the final fight against Bowser.

Step 3: Adding the Game to TeknoParrot

  1. In TeknoParrot UI, click the "Add Game" button (the plus icon).
  2. From the dropdown list, scroll to "N" or search for "New Super Mario Bros Wii Coin World" .
  3. Select it.
  4. A new window will appear asking for the Game Executable Path. Navigate to your downloaded game folder and select the main .exe file (often named game.exe or mario.exe).
