Growing up, ate has always been more than just a sibling to me. She has been my confidante, my partner in crime, and my guiding light. We've shared countless memories, from late-night conversations about our dreams and aspirations to silly jokes that only we understand.

As we ventured into the unknown, the excitement was palpable. We had been planning this trip for months, and finally, the day had arrived. Our mission was to explore the uncharted territories of our province, to discover hidden gems, and to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that surrounded us. With every step, we felt a sense of liberation, as if we were shedding the constraints of our daily routines and embracing the freedom of the wild.
But our adventures weren't limited to just playtime. Ate and I would often sneak into our Lola's (grandmother's) kitchen to create our own stories. We would gather scraps of food, fabric scraps, and other materials to create our own puppet shows. As I grew older, our relationship evolved, but the bond remained strong. Ate became my confidante, someone I could share my thoughts, feelings, and dreams with. We would talk for hours, discussing our aspirations, relationships, and life struggles. Her wisdom, empathy, and kindness helped me navigate the complexities of adolescence and young adulthood.
