Hero Party Must Fall " is a niche visual novel focused on subverting the traditional "save the world" trope. Instead of playing as the hero, you take on the role of a secret agent or spy for the Demon King. Your mission is to infiltrate the Hero's party and systematically dismantle it from within.

Player options and agency

• Offer meaningful choices, not illusions of choice. Make each option have clearly different outcomes.
• Give players opportunities for heroism even in failure: rescue a group, destroy a doomsday device at the cost of the hero, or ensure a secret survives.
• Allow characters to redefine success: sometimes preventing a greater evil or saving a loved one is the win.
