Hyouka, which translates to "Ice Cream" in Japanese, is a Japanese anime series based on the light novel series of the same name written by Honobu Sakurazaka and illustrated by Keeji Mizoguchi. The anime series consists of 22 episodes and was produced by Studio Gokumi. Hyouka premiered in January 2012 and concluded in September 2012.

There, he meets the radiant and relentlessly curious Eru Chitanda.
