1. Objective

Design an ejector (jet pump) to entrain secondary fluid using a high-pressure motive steam/air/gas flow. Provide key design equations, assumptions, step-by-step calculation procedure, and recommended Excel worksheet layout to compute primary nozzle, mixing section, diffuser dimensions, and performance (entrainment ratio, motive and suction mass flows, outlet pressure, and efficiency).

Step 6: Diffuser Recovery
