1. Run installer as administrator – old installer writes to protected registry keys.
2. Manually rescan in DAW – Some hosts (Cakewalk, Reaper, Studio One) may not auto-detect the VST. Add the install path: C:\Program Files\EDIROL\HyperCanvas VST.
3. Use a VST bridge for 32-bit only – If your DAW is 64-bit only, ensure the installer installed the 64-bit .dll. If not, use jBridge or Element.
4. Disable Windows Defender real-time scan temporarily – The installer triggers false positives on old .dll packing.
