Step 3: Insert the Modem and Let Drivers Load
- After reboot, insert the Dcom 35G into a USB 2.0 port (avoid USB 3.0 ports on older laptops as they can cause power negotiation issues).
- Windows will detect new hardware. The pre-installed drivers will now assign ports (Modem Port, Diagnostic Port, NMEA Port).
- A notification will pop up: "Device ready to use."

Step 2 – Connect Modem
- Plug Dcom 35G into a USB port.
- Wait for “New device detected” and auto-install (30–60 seconds).

Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings > Right-click Movitel connection > Properties > IPv4 > Use custom DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1
