1. Introduction & Scope

The BECSys5 is a modular building energy control system designed for HVAC, lighting, and auxiliary load management. This manual covers hardware installation, network configuration, controller addressing, and core technical parameters for system integrators and certified technicians.

Example: High space temperature alarm

1. Snap the DIN rail clip open, hook onto top of rail, then push bottom until it clicks.
2. Maintain 50mm clearance above/below for airflow.
3. Grounding: Use the dedicated earth terminal (green/yellow) – loop resistance <1Ω to panel ground.
4. Labeling: Affix pre-printed labels with BACnet Device Instance (format: 50001, 50002, etc.).
